Los Angeles based British born and raised stylist and fashion expert Clare Mukherjee’s ‘big break’ occurred when assisting a costume designer on the independent movie ‘I’m Reed Fish’ (Alexis Bledel, Jay Baruchel). The designer left the project one week into filming and Clare was asked to take her place. It was at this pivotal moment that her career as a stylist truly began.
Clare enjoys a vibrant and varied career. Clients have included actresses Alexis Bledel, Emilie De Ravin, Maggie Grace and Rachelle LeFevre. Advertising campaigns include TOMS shoes, Nike, Everlane and Paul Mitchell and her work regularly appears on the pages of Flaunt Magazine, Paris Match, and Vanity Fair. Her styling is known for its European aesthetic, a result of her British upbringing.
Clare also has representation with ICM for her work as a ‘Fashion Expert’. Her television work includes regular appearances on STYLE networks ‘HOW DO I LOOK’ where she conducts makeovers in a typically honest fashion and discussing celebrity style on the networks fashion fabulous show ‘STYLE STAR’ and ‘STYLE INSIDER’. She also appears regularly on Good Day LA’s ‘STYLE FILE’ segment, ‘THE RICKI LAKE SHOW’ on FOX (premiering this fall), TLC, VH1 and MTV UK and as a fashion reporter for AOL’s www.cambio.com.
Clare is also an enthusiastic fashion writer and blogger and is a contributor to The Huffington Post.
